I'm a big lover of Halloween as I've expressed previously, so I thought I'd pair two and two together and do a blogpost and include a Halloween DIY
Ghost Garland
this is a fun, simple and cute way to spice up a wall on Halloween, this didn't cost me anything as I used things we had in the house already.
step 1: first start off by gathering up all your equipment needed, for this I used toilet roll (sounds weird I know), cotton balls/pads, glue, scissors, permanent marker pen and some string!

on the 23rd of September Autumn officially started, its a few days past that now. So, we can officially celebrate Autumn! *does an Autumn dance?!?*
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, one because it gives you a reason to stay inside and not be socialable because 'it gets dark earlier ;)' and two because HALLOWEEN and also Dan and Phil bring out some pretty awesome videos in October, I especially love their 'spooky week' videos, they do provide you with a bit of a lol! Autumn also mean pretty leaves, good photo opportunities, wearing 47368 cosy jumpers and lots of comfy socks! You can also drink loads of hot chocolate and coffee without being questioned, which is always a plus xD
I love Halloween, not the trick or treating part, as I'm a tad too old for that now, but just the atmosphere. A book I'm currently reading made me look at Halloween from a different perspective. I cannot remember the exact quotes but it was something along the lines of Halloween allows you to be who you want to be and to not be judged, you can hide behind a mask and no one will know it's you. A quick brief on the book 'wonder' is, a young boy named August, has clefts palette and its talking about him joining school, I haven't finished it yet but its definitely a book I would recommend! I think this book is really eye opening! And teaches you to be grateful for what you have.
although September is the back to school month, lets just push that to the side. September also means, nearly Christmas, and nearly Halloween, my two favourite celebrations. I also love the cold weather as it means you can snuggle up in bed early with a mug of tea and a good film!!

i just want to apologise for the fact I really do not have a system for blogging (if ya get what i mean) I just blog because it's something I enjoy as I've said about 38427 times but I just like to blog at any random times.
Back to todays post! I think the most important thing in life is to be happy, if you're not happy then life can be a bit, well, horrible. Staying positive when you know your life sucks a bit is great, it'll really make you happier. But as much as we all try to stay happy we can't constantly be happy and in my opinion being constantly happy would get very repetitive after a while and we need unhappy times to make us who we are and develop us as humans. The best feeling in my opinion is happiness, and feeling content with life, I also think gratitude is a lovely feeling to express as it makes others happy!

I think spending time with people you love and people who care about you is a great way to stay happy, not only will they make you laugh and smile they will most likely compliment you and make you feel good about yourself. surrounding yourself around people who make you feel good about yourself will make you increasingly happy as who doesn't love a good chuckle with friends and family! If you surround yourself with people who make you feel insecure and unhappy, then you'll begin showing it, not just with the things you say but how you look, showing your emotions and your physical appearance can begin to drop, leaving you looking dragged down.

Focus on the good things. This is probably the easiest one to say but the trickiest one to do (for me anyway) but I have a few tips to make you focus one these things. One of them is write these things down, even if it's something small like a time when your friend compliments you or something big like meeting your favourite celebrity! Also pop fun things you have done on a calendar and look back at them when you are down!

Another is to keep smiling, I smile when I'm sad or panicky and I'm not making this up it seriously cheers me up and completely turns my mood around, leaving me jolly and skipping around. Okay maybe not skipping but it certainly makes me feel a lot cheerier!

The final thing is to listen to music which makes you happy or cheers you up or relaxes you, I listen to Happy by Pharell Williams, I usually find this song quite boring or annoying but when I'm sad it really cheers me up for some reason, leaving me dancing and singing around!

Hello all!
I've recently been buying a few different bits and pieces, and thought 'ohh, I could blog about these' so we're joined here today to have a peek into the things I have brought! Hope you enjoy and sorry there hasn't been a blog post recently, I will try to upload more frequently when my summer holidays start!

Myself and my friend Aimee went to Cambridge for her birthday and we went shopping and it was fab! We went into a few shops but Kiko and Lush were the only places I got things from! I must admit when I saw there was a Kiko I squealed with excitement, now I've never been into one before or really looked at their makeup but makeup shops always excite me, so we may or may not have visited it 3 times in a day! The first thing I picked up was a mascara, now this mascara is amazing! It gives your lashes so much volume and length, I would happily say it's nearly as good as benefit roller lash and the best thing is, is it was only £2.90! So when the lady in the shop recommended it I thought even if this is a bit crappy you can't really grumble at that little amount! The only bad thing is it doesn't keep the curl all day so you may need to re-apply! Other than that I'm extremely happy with it! Click here if you would like to have a little look at it!

The final think I purchased from Kiko was an Eyeshadow and it was from their 'cool touch eyeshadow' range, and is in the shade '03, revolutionary brown' , this is a cream eyeshadow and is extremely pretty and pigmented, the only bad thing about this is it easily drops out of the tub (?!?) thing! Unfortunately I don't think this is available to buy anymore as I searched and searched but could not find it anywhere!

The next shop I got things from was Lush, and I didn't actually buy these myself, Aimee got them for me which she didn't have to do but was very kind and thoughtful of her so thank you very much :) she brought me 'Avobath' and 'Space Girl' and I'm a very happy person!! Avobath is one I've never really opted for and to be honest I don't know why because it's a gorgeous green and the smell is incredible, it is an extremely 'in your face' smell and I would say it is lemongrass and would be really refreshing! It had avocado in so would be a great one for dry skin! 'Space Girl' is a very sweet scent and is just a really girly scent in my opinion, these are two I would defiantly recommend as I have had them both before!

Those are the bits and pieces I got from Cambridge and I'm sorry this is already really long, I have 4 more things for this, so hang in!

I thought I'd finally jump on the band wagon and get the collection lasting perfection concealer and I have no idea how I have lived without it! It is very high coverage so great if you're one of those gals, or guys who have bad under eye circles, like myself then I would recommend this! I won't go on as I think more or less every youtuber goes on about this. It was £4.19 and you can click here to view it!

Another thing I jumped on the band wagon with was the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in '107' I have been umming and ahhing over this for a while now but I finally picked it up on Sunday and I'm so pleased I did! Its a gorgeous dark berry red and I will be wearing it loads, it would go perfectly with a neutral eye look! 

The next thing is rather flawless, it is another rimmel product but this time it's a nail polish, and the name is rather snazzy and it is '322, Neon Fest' and I must admit the names of products really make me happy, sad or what but this is just a neon pink and is what I would call a barbie colour, but doesn't look tacky at all! click here to have a little look!

The final thing I brought, is probably my favourite thing everrrrr! and it is a lipstick, it is by Barry M and I brought it in the spur of the moment but I'm so pleased I did! It's a browny nude colour and I'm completely obsessed!! It is matte but its a moisturising matte which is rather fab! If you would like to have a look at it click here and it is shade number 3! The only downside to this is it snapped when I opened it :(
