Some mornings, the thing you least want to do is spend half an hour perfecting your makeup, with your contour giving you chiselled cheeks.
I thought i'd share with you five products I use on days where makeup isn't my thang.
I cannot do anything without a bitta primer. my skin makes EVERYTHING cake up on my face so a primer is very necessary. I think in the blogosphere this primer is very underrated. It makes my makeup go on so nicely, and keeps it on all day long.
For only £7.99, this primer lasts so long and is definitely worth it.

This concealer is a god send. I didn't want to jump on the band wagon when this was first hyped about and was dead against it. But i'm so pleased I caved in and tried it. I have been through so many tubes of this and i'm running low on my latest bottle.. if it was ever discontinued I think a part of my heart would break.
After not being able to justify buying another tube of Benefit Roller Lash, I resorted to this. And I love it. It gives my lashes a lot of volume, and coats every lash. I usually pair this with a kiko mascara for added 'blackness' but it also looks brill without!
Bronzer is a staple in my makeup collection, especially this one. It just adds a pop of colour to your cheeks, and once blended out you are a bronzed goddess. Although this is quite costly it is worth it. I looove it!
I had a blusher from no. 7 and I never thought I would change or use a different one, but since finding this blush, everything has changed. This blush is super shimmery so if that isn't your thing, steer clear of this. It is a gorgeous pink colour, I would 10/10 recommend.

Panic! At The Disco
As I've mentioned previously, panic! are my faaave band. Their music just does something for me? It's crazy, it gets me so emotional - HAHA!
My fave p!atd song at the moment is definitely That Green Gentleman. It's so cheery and I always have a good boogie to it!
Unfortunately, as they have gone their separate ways, we no longer have Ryans INCREDIBLE voice. But if you want some mega-feels watch their cover of Radiohead's Karma Police.

Fall Out Boy
I have also mentioned FOB in one of my posts before. I looove them. Patricks voice is super unique and sends a shiver down my spine, loool.
My fave track by them at the moment is 'I don't care', it makes me feel sassy as I walk down the street with my earphones in.. haha.

Twenty One Pilots
Josh and Tyler are brilliant. They are such lovely people and their music is super inspiring.
I don't want to repeat myself too much in this post, but as I picked these people, I will end up saying they're my favourites. Which, they are!!
My fave tunes by them are polarize and lovely.

My Chemical Romance
Don't get me started on MCR, I will cry. Just listen to them!
My fave is I don't love you.

The Wombats
The Wombats are a bit different to the rest of the bands I am including in this post. They're more chill, more indie.. I love them so much nonetheless.
My fave tooons are Tokyo - vampires and wolves and Greek Tragedy.

The Beatles
The Beatles are always a classic, I don't think I will EVER stop loving them. I could write five paragraphs about why I love them and my favourite songs. Although, sadly we are a world without George and John, they will always be in my heart.
I could NEVER pick one of two of my favourite songs... its just too hard.

The Hunna
For me, The Hunna have been a recent discovery, I heard them on Kerrang radio once and have loved them since.
My favourite song by them is you & me.

Andy Black
You may know him as Andy Biersack or Andy from BVB. I find BVB quite a scary band, I won't lie to you. But Andy's voice is so beautiful, I just love him!
My fave song is Stay Alive.

Simon & Garfunkel
As you might be able to see, my music taste varies a lot, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are incredible. I find Paul's voice super relaxing and soothing and find he has a generally lovely voice.
My fave is I am a rock, 100%!!

That is all from my trip to Overstrand.

School is often seen as a place where EVERYONE hates, and I, myself do dislike it from time to time, but it is the reason i'm able to blog and use the correct 'you're' or 'they're', and let me tell you that alone makes me very grateful.. it is also most probably the reason you're able to read this.

anyway, what I'm getting at is school is a place which builds us up as people, what with interaction with our peers, forming some of the closest and most amazing friendships at school and just learning how to read and write.

I thought i'd go into depth as to why school can be a pretty snazzy place...

reason 1
correct grammar. for me, being a blogger, correct grammar is VERY important. also just in every day life, correct grammar is essential. I know a LOT of people who still have incorrect grammar, but I remember my year 6 teacher drilling the difference between 'your' and 'you're' into me, and I feel blessed she did this.

reason 2
you should just be grateful you're getting an education. 67 million primary school aged children are denied education. that is a hefty number, and it'll most probably keep growing.

reason 3
being a girl attending secondary school, I got jabs against HPV. in short, HPV is a virus, which can cause multiple diseases, some being low, some being high risk. in the worst case scenario, it can cause cervical cancer. I cannot begin to explain how incredibly appreciative I am for this jab, which could possibly save my life. although giving me a dead arm for a couple of days, the concept of this jab puts a lot into perspective.

reason 4
lessons CAN be fun. some lessons are a bore, yes. but some can be interesting, some you can have a laugh in. have the right mind-set and they will be fun and interesting.

reason 5
finally, school can create incredible friendships. I know without school I wouldn't have met my best friend, Aimee. we both went to different primary schools and met through high school. she is one of the most amazing people I've ever met, shes always fun, loving and funny. I would be lost without her.

as summer is in full spring (lol who am I kidding, a coat was VERY necessary the other day) I want to ditch the hundreds of layers and be able to chuck a blazer or cardi on over a thin top.

with the weather not being too horrific this weekend, I seized the chance for an outfit post. I am in no way a fashion guru but I thought it might be fun to show you what sort of thing I like to wear.

my mum and I were buying boring school clothing from Marks and Sparks, when we went to pay and I walked past this and just HAD to try it on, I knew i'd love it from the second I saw it. you can wear it with jeans for a casual everyday look or spice it up for a time when you go out (fyi, I rarely leave the house so it's more of a casual affair for me, lool)

jeans
this jeans have survived a helluva lot. I've had them for sooo long and they used to be my mums, so they've been well loved. topshop jeans are my favee, they're so comfy. initially coming with no holes in, they have worn down a lot and I unfortunately stuck my hand straight through them, meaning they have a peculiar thigh hole (new trend?!), anyway if you're searching for the perfect jean, I would recommend topshop, as although they are v pricey, they are sooo worth it!

earrings
these are my favourite earrings, I never used to like hoops, feeling they could look tacky but I've changed my mind, I love them. being super simplistic you can wear other jewellery without looking like you robbed accessorize (or primark for my former very naïve-hoop-hating self). definitely a smaller pair is recommended for school as I got asked to take these ones out by a supply who doesn't work at my school, lool. but, of course, I did ;)

shoes
white converse are a staple in many peoples wardrobes, they're super comfy and look great with almost every outfit! I saw these pretty daisies and had to stop to take a photo with them - how cute are they?
